Look Up starts with what you want to reconnect with: a conversation, a book, a meal or an outing. The guides suggest things to try and adapt, without competition between people.

Make things understandable

We distinguish editorial suggestions, documented information and app evaluations. A guide to disconnecting is not the Look Up Score rating scale.

Document initiatives

For venues and events, we describe the proposed practice, its scope, its source and when it was checked. An organiser’s statement does not become a Look Up endorsement. Paid inclusion or an affiliate relationship would be clearly disclosed.

Respect different audiences

Adult content and support for children have different contexts. A disconnecting experience or a tool is not a promise of health benefits or absolute protection.
