Cookies and local storage
Only the essentials
No advertising cookies or social pixels are used. Images, icons and fonts are served with the site. PostHog can measure site pages and actions only after you consent to analytics. External services load only when you open their links.
Display preference
The local storage key look-up-theme contains only “light” or “dark”, according to your choice. It stays in your browser until cleared or replaced. It is not used to track you. Look Up Kids keeps its own palette and does not use this preference to change its visual world.
Private access
Administration may use session cookies needed for authentication and security. They are not used for advertising. Reading the public website and ranking does not require an administrator account.
Your settings
Cookie settings at the bottom of every page let you accept, reject or change preferences and analytics separately. Rejecting is as easy as accepting. Your choice is saved for six months. Withdrawing consent stops new analytics events.
Future changes
Website analytics are separate from Look Up and Look Up Kids application data. No session recordings, advertising, form text or conversation content are sent to PostHog. Search parameters and personal email links are excluded. Read our privacy policy.
